MRS - Local railway station radio system in VHF band

Description

MRS system is communication system that ensures complex connection within railway station local radio networks from dispatcher position or station guard position. System ensures simultaneously remote control of the local networks from dispatcher position. System MRS is designed as ribbon network by means of continuous four-wire interconnection of radio stations in particular railway stations.

Architecture of MRS system ensures combination of:

• Connection as many as 6 lines to control position of dispatcher – design of star network
• Division of one line into two siding branches continuously on selected radiostation
• connection of 15 radio station in one line

Operating modes

• Band 150 MHz or 450 MHz, with channel rasters 12,5 kHz or 25 kHz

Features

• Remote control of local radio station situated in railway stations from dispatcher console.
• Branching of infrastructure of MRS system.
• Monitoring and operation of 5 channels (local communication networks) on each local base radio station.
• Access into selected channel (communication networks) of local base radio station from dispatcher console.
• Earmarking of base radio station from the network for local control on station guard position.
• Actual mode of particular base radio station is displayed on-line on dispatcher console.
• Simultaneous operation of 6 listening-in on dispatcher console – division into 3 external loudspeakers.
• “Request for call” transmission from portable or vehicle radiostation to dispatcher console including identification of applicant i.e. channel (communication network) + localization of base radio station.
• Acoustic confirmation of successful receipt of the request on dispatcher console.
• Storage of incoming “request for call” on dispatcher console and defined procedure for processing of this request.
• Recording particular system`s event and its displaying on the screen of dispatcher console.
• Automatic diagnostics of the whole system including indication of the failure particular local base radio station.
• Recording of voice connections and of system`s events on selected recording device from dispatcher console.
• Software switching of the control from main dispatcher console to redundant one in case of operation demand.
• Integration a disposal of existing vehicle radio stations or portable radio stations.
