SSRS - Railway ribbon simplex radio system in VHF band

Description

Simplex radio system is designed as ribbon network that offers connection between mobile means and dispatcher position within intended thoroughfare (railway, speedway, or watercourse). Communication is executed in band 150 MHz.

Features

  • Open radio network without selective call consist of one as many as six lines of base radio station located in ribbon network along routes.
  • Control of network is provided form dispatcher console.
  • Base radio stations are equipped with diversity reception circuits that are in operation during establishment of the connection from mobile means position.
  • One automatically selected base radio station is used for communication between dispatcher and mobile means.
  • Voice announcement of dispatcher is transmitted by all base radio stations.
  • Recording of the communication is guaranteed on selected recording device.
  • Diagnostic loop that ensures automatic diagnostic of ribbon network evaluated and displayed on dispatcher console.
  • Diagnostics triggered by telephone call with automatic voice response (fault/correct) from particular base radio stations.
  • Mobile means shall be understood as portable radiostation or vehicle radiostation with possibility of generation of LF tones (1850 Hz, 1950 Hz, 2160 Hz).

    • Vehicle radiostation with function of A, B, C tones generation (for example CAB radio station VS67)
    • Portable radiostation with function of A, B, C tones generation (for example Motorola)

    • Dispatcher console (1 or 2) contens: 
      • Control block ZL64
      • Control unit ZO64 (1 or 2)
    • Base radio station ZR64
    • Branch block ZX64 (branching of one line into more lines)
    • Repeater unit ZN64 (stabilization of frequency characteristics and attenuation on LF lines during transmission on long distance)
