General Description:
Mobile precision approach radar RP-5GI/M, operating in X frequency band, is a sophisticated radar device providing complete radar information necessary for precision approach and landing of all types of aircrafts. Mobile structure of the radar is designed in form of two independent units – Antenna unit container and Operator unit container – the both are ready for transportation on flat trailer towed by truck. Radar modular design, simple installation and compliance with all ICAO recommendations enables its full integration into existing systems without necessity of their essential changes or civil engineering adaptations. The system provides modern AMTI processing of radar data together with display presentation on large LCD monitors. Also extensive diagnostics based on BITE system is built-in.
The radar is designed for round-the-clock operation, its structure is modular and completely doubled and the system does not require permanent presence of technical staff. All radar data including voice information can be completely recorded for landing documentation.
