Radar system modernizations
General Description:
Modernization of radar systems is a special activity ensuring partial or complete radar system modernization on the base of customer wishes. In the course of modernization it is realized substitution of old radar blocks for new, modern and technologically sophisticated blocks respecting current level of radar technology. Whereas during partial modernization it is solved technical improvement of one of radar sub-systems only, e.g. radar display, radar signal processing or new SW implementation; so during complete modernization there are engaged all radar sub-systems into modernization.
Complete radar modernization includes antenna system's overhaul and following substitution of main radar sub-systems: transmitter(s), receiver(s), signal processor(s), control and diagnostic sub-system and sub-system of display and recording. T-CZ is able to modernize both former radar types of own production (RP-5, RP-5G, RL-64, RPL-4, RPL-5) and radar systems of other producers(e.g. P18, P37). Starting point of each modernization it is the elaboration of modernization project, further it follows up-dating of modernized radar's operation and maintenance manuals. Following table includes some confirmed modernization ways utilized through T-CZ Company.
